Lasagna (Takes about an hour if you have made the sauces already)

2 pint of white sauce
2 jars of bolognaise or tomato sauce
1 packet of dried lasagne (you won’t need it all)
400 grams of strong flavoured cheese
1 teaspoon of oil

Light the oven to 200 or gas Mark 6

Smear the bottom and sides of your deep baking tin with oil and fill the bottom with sheets of lasagne.  You will be able to put in 4-5 depending on the size of the tin and you can fill in any gaps by breaking the lasagne sheets to fit.   Spread this with a layer of tomato/bolognaise sauce and top this with a layer of white sauce. Next sprinkle with a quarter of the cheese.  Repeat this twice or until you have finished up the sauces and cheese.

Place the lasagne in the hot oven and bake for about 25 to 40 minutes.  To test that all the pasta is cooked push a sharp knife in and make sure it is soft.

You can add vegetables to this by lightly cooking – broccoli, peppers, mushrooms, onions, green beans etc and adding them to the first layer of tomato/bolognaise sauce.
