Pizza (After you have made the dough the pizza takes about 30 minutes)

500 grams of Basic Bread Dough
2 tins chopped tomatoes
2 teaspoons of oregano
1 pack of pizza mozzarella not the fresh squashy one or 300/400 grams of cheddar or edam cheese.
4 teaspoons of olive oil or other
Salt and pepper
4 teaspoons of flour
100 grams of vegetables sliced thinly – Courgettes, onions, peppers, mushrooms etc

This recipe makes 4 pizzas and if you have two oven trays you can bake two at a time.  Or if you have really large trays you can make two really big pizzas to share.

First turn the oven to its highest and heat it for ten to fifteen minutes.  Divide the dough into four balls and use your (clean) hands to press this flat and then roll it out with your rolling pin until it is about the size of a dinner plate.

Smear a baking tray with a small amount of oil then put your pizza on it.

Then spread about half a tin of tomatoes over the pizza, sprinkle a quarter of the vegetables on top and then put a quarter of the cheese over the vegetable then sprinkle with a little oregano, salt and pepper and a drizzle of oil over the top.

Bake it in the hottest part of your oven for about 10 minutes or until the sides of the pizza are crispy and golden and ready to eat.  Be careful the cheese will be really hot!!!
