Recyclable Gift Wrapping
Recyclable Gift Wrapping
Discover the art of gift wrapping - Japanese style.
Furoshiki is a fun and creative style of gift wrapping using a large piece of cloth to create elegant looking presents.
The good news is, when the present is unwrapped there’s nothing to be thrown away!
The material must be large enough to wrap around the present several times but remember to use a fabric that's not too bulky or it will be difficult to knot. You could use any of the following items:
* silk or polyester scarf
* pashmina
* pretty tablecloth
* remnant of fabric
Shop around for beautiful but cheap fabrics. Great deals such as two pashminas for four pounds can be found on the high street! To find out more, take a look at these easy to follow instructions.
