Washable Nappies

You are likely to change your baby about 4,500 times.
If you use a disposable nappy (diaper) at every change your baby will create .874 tonnes of waste (Environment Agency estimate). Do you want to find out more about Washable Nappies?
So the top reason to use washable nappies are to reduce waste, but you will also save money by doing so.
Some councils give vouchers for washable nappies to reduce the cost of sending nappy waste to landfill/incineration. Waltham Forest Council does not offer a real nappy incentive, so why not write to your mp and/or local councillor to let him/her know you want to use washable nappies and don't want to pay for landfill and/or incineration of disposables.
