Acacia Children’s Centre offer
both childcare and education and is part of the services run by the London Borough of Waltham Forest. Children are offered places according to the local authority’s admission policy. This policy takes into account the needs of families such as nearness and accessibility of the provision as well as children’s individual needs.

Acacia Children’s Centre is working in partnership with the local Children’s Services team to bring services to families in the local community.

Free Nursery Education sessions are offered to all children from the term after their third birthday as soon as a place is available. From birth to the end of the reception year in Primary School children follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. This builds the foundations for later learning. The curriculum takes into account the developmental needs of individual children.

Children are able to have both nursery education sessions and childcare at Acacia Nursery if they are three or four years old.
